Our Work
Below are some examples of actual color card projects we have done along with some notes on each card. We would be happy to send a package of samples so you can see how our customers use color depositing to market what they make.
Paint
We've produced variations of this card many times over the years. It is a 4 page layout with 74 colors across the inside spread.
Each section is a different product such as Interior wall paint or Industrial Maintenance paint. Each product has different gloss levels.
Architectural Panels
This is a 6-page format that Coloramic designed in collaboration with our customer and the paint company using customer-supplied photography.
The 14 colors on the right are metallics. The 8 colors center bottom are special effects achieved by depositing a base and overprinting effects like glitter.
Sell Sheets
The majority of what we do are letter size cards, mostly for metal roofing and siding companies.
Often panel profiles and trim drawings are printed on the back. We can deposit nearly any shape and can bleed the colors off the edge.
The card in the middle was one of the most unique designs we've done.
Small handout cards
Sometimes it makes sense to use a small format card to present your colors to prospective buyers.
Typical sizes are 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" or rack card size (4" x 9"). Of course the limited area restricts how many colors can appear on the card but it can be an economical way to show your colors.
Textured colors
Textured colors have taken the metal roofing business by storm! Nearly every metal building card we've done in the last couple years has at least some textured colors. The close up above shows the effect.
Normally, smooth colors and textured colors are in separate sections of the card.
Printed Metal/Effects
There has been an increase in metal painted with different patterns, particularly wood grains.
We print these patterns at the same time we print the base sheets and go to great lengths to get the colors as close as practical given the limitations of both offset and digital printing.
The solid and textured colors are color deposited "paint on paper".
