*The number of printed colors specifies how many colors of ink are used on the printed part of the project such as logos, pictures, and ad copy. Color pictures are usually printed using four ink colors, referred to as four-color-process, or 4cp for short.

To specify the printing, enter how many colors of ink are used on each side of the flat sheet, separated by a slash. For example, a brochure with a color picture on one side and a black and red logo/ad copy on the inside would be specified as "4/2".
